Email alerts
PDFglyph can email you about your account so you notice a problem before your users do. There are four alerts, each an independent opt-in you control on the Notifications page in the dashboard. They are sent to your account email address.
Alerts are checked by a background sweep a few times an hour, so an email may arrive a little after the event it describes — they are heads-ups, not real-time webhooks.
The four alerts

The two quota alerts are on by default because they are operational (your integration is being rejected or is about to be). The failure alert is off by default because it is the noisiest; turn it on while you are actively integrating or debugging.
How they are throttled
- Quota reached and Usage at 80% are sent at most once per calendar month each. A new month re-arms them. Because they key off the same usage counter that enforces your quota, they can never disagree with the number on your dashboard.
- Generation failures are coalesced: a burst of failures becomes a single "N generations failed" email, sent at most once per hour. So a broken integration that fails hundreds of times produces one heads-up, not hundreds of emails. The email links straight to your history filtered to errors, where each failure carries an actionable message.
- The weekly summary is sent at most once per calendar week, on Mondays. No activity in the previous 7 days means no email — a digest of nothing is noise, not signal.
Privacy
Alert emails contain counts and links only — never your request data or the rendered documents (which are never stored regardless). They are service emails about your own account, not marketing.
